Bringing Zumba® Fitness everywhere!!!

Earlier this month a small group of us took a trip to Clearwater for the 2011 Gin and Tonic Tour. I’ll write about the Gin and Tonic Tour later. It definitely deserves a post of its own! We all thought this would be a perfect time to take a mini vacation.

One night we went to Ybor city for dinner and a little bit of dancing (it would have been a lotta bit of dancing, but we had to be well rested for G&T 🙂 ). While having dinner the waiter asks us what brings us to Clearwater. We shout, “ZUMBA®!!!!” I don’t remember how it came up, but somehow we ended up saying, “Let us show you some moves!” He might have thought we were joking, but when he came back to our table to check on us we asked, “Are you ready?!?!” Next thing you know, Kristen and I were in the middle of the restaurant showing him a few moves that we do in our Zumba® class. From the smile on his face, I’m pretty sure he went on zumba.com once he got home to find a class in his area. 😉

Zumbawear™: Illusions Collection

The Zumbawear™ Illusions Collection came out today. I always look forward to the release of new Zumba® clothes to add to my collection. It adds more excitement into my life. 🙂

 My favorites:

Shout-Out Leggings – The Zumba® leggings are always a must have. They’re made pretty perfect. The fabric holds everything nicely without being too tight.

Anorak Bubble Jacket – I’m not a huge fan of puffy looking jackets because sometimes I end up feeling like a little girl wearing my mom’s coat, but this jacket is adorable! I wish I didn’t live in Florida. I’m not sure how much use I’d get out of it.

Zweety Velour Track Jacket – I like the style of this one. I wouldn’t normally wear velour, but I think I’d make an exception for the Zweety Jacket.

I like the Shout-Out Cargo Pant in Gunmetal, but I’m not sure if I’d wear them. I really like the black and tennis ball color combo. I think they’d look really great as shorts or capris, if they were made with in the same material as the Shout-Out Legging.

Random side note: I would love to see harem pants, but I might be one of the only people who would buy them…haha. I’m thinking of making my own

Zumba Fitness® at the 2011 NCLR ALMA Awards!!

Last night Zumba Fitness® joined Pitbull on stage as the opening act for the 2011 NCLR ALMA Awards. It was so exciting seeing the ladies all dressed in their Zumbawear™. Of course I had to get up and dance like I was part of it, and I fell in love with Pitbull’s “Shake Señora.” If you missed the performance, check it out below.
